There seems to be a written and unwritten code.
Sometimes it feels like my teenage children are talking a different language.
I have to guess as to what its meant to mean.
As I cant get a word in as they enjoy
Talking about what they have seen and heard.
On a screen or events at school.
At the relevant point
A pause.
I ask them to put more meaning to what they have said.
I’m usually told I’m old and wouldn’t understand.
But that doesn’t stick.
