9 Tips to keep you on track and make it as easy as possible
Well after committing to giving rather than giving up in lent its finally over. This blog must be the latest in the day but I kind of have it down to an art and here is what I recommend.
- Choose a topic area for the day
- Work out the title using Co schedule headline analyser
- Put a brief blog plan together Make a note at the top or bottom of the page with the aim, what are the take aways, what is the research or theory to support your claim. What is my personal experience that I will share.
Ask yourself:
When I have completed a great blog what will it look like, feel like and sound like to my audience?
4. Grab a picture from a royalty free stock. My favourite is unsplash.
5. Get writing and keep it simple
6. Stop and do something else so you can have a fresh look before you go live
7. Proof reader If you are lucky enough to have someone to read it before you need to go live make the most of it.
8. Check and review your plan. Have you answered your aim and objectives and more importantly does it add value to the audience?
9. Publish with relevant #Hashtags
The past 6 plus weeks have been enjoyable, frustrating, time consuming and uplifting. It has given me a boost and more importantly I hope those who have read them (however few) have taken away something useful.
I highly recommend the challenge …enjoy
I love rolling my sleeves up and getting under the skin of a significant challenge working with high energy, new and established teams (mostly entrepreneurs, tech and small businesses) to be productive, high performing and prosperous (healthy and happy).
