Leadership doesn’t have to be lonely.

Roles and locations can be lonely.

There are a number of different ways to describe loneliness.

One is about being on your own where you are.

And.

The other is about feeling isolated on an island.

As you have no one to share and discuss.

Leaders, managers and experts.

Can all feel like this.

In days gone by.

In my first leadership and management role.

It was lonely.

I was away from the security of the wider organisation I belonged to.

I had no one to share ideas

Discuss options

Or

Share frustrations with.

I was isolated.

It was a mix of courage and building resilience.

Where I learnt my craft.

Today we can suffer from both types of loneliness.

Having the confidential space to share

Reflect

And

Seek different perspectives

Can all happen through coaching.

It’s a protected time in your diary to feel less isolated.

Go back feeling empowered and energised.

And

More confident.

For doing the next great thing.

What is your way of finding a confidential space to feel less lonely?
